Hello, I am finding the user experience of Rize Dashboard to be quite frustrating and would like to offer some ideas for improvement.
On labels data
I would like to have the possibility to set a price of my work based on the label data of the tasks, because i dont like to establish a tariff on every created task, because so many tasks share a label, so it's better just compute the tariff based on the label
Bulk removal of projects and tasks imported from Asana
Please add a way to bulk-delete projects and tasks imported from integrations such as Asana. Currently, disconnecting Asana leaves all previously imported projects and tasks in Rize, and they appear to be removable only one by one. Ideally, Rize should support either: - bulk selection and deletion of projects/tasks, or - an option to remove all data imported from a disconnected integration.
Manual Add Time Entries Approval
Hi, our team use Rize to tack our team productivity. I wonder if there is a way or feature to not have reporting add time entries manually or if they add it, will ping manager to approve?
Multiple Active Monitors
Hi Rize team, A lot of my workflow is setup up to use multiple monitors. My current setup is that I use two monitors plus my laptop screen as part of my workspace. Since Rize only tracks one monitor, that is a massive inefficiency for me since a lot of the things I want Rize to track are on multiple monitors. I would rather exclude apps/websites from tracking activity and set up rules rather than do my entire workflow on only one monitor so that Rize can track that active window. Also, as a brand new user, it isnt clear to me visually which window is the Active Window Rize is tracking. I assume it is the window where the timer is, but nothing tells me explicitly that that is the case. TLDR, I'd like a feature request where you can set multiple active windows.
Search task by Linear issue ID
Currently, I can only search my Linear issues by title. I'd like the ability to search by issue ID, which is easier.
Make the Project hover useful
I really like how you can see project and client name upon hovering on a task. But that is not the case for projects. You have to click on one and hope its the correct one. Suggestion: Add a similar popup that shows this information
view on calendar
I found the calendar is helpful for me to approve time entries, however, some full day calendar invite is creating problem on viewing the others. Is there a way to change the UI how full day event is show in the calendar?
Daily Hour Target Counting Down (And Not Up)
Would be cool if the daily hour target countdown timer would count down towards 00:00:00 (starting from your set amount of hours you want to make daily.)
Incomplete Metadata
Apps like zoom workplace and zoom meetings and chatgpt codex don't provide enough useful metadata and information about the name of the chat or meeting that I'm in. This makes RIZE's suggestions very inaccurate for time entries where I use those apps. I think I heard someone mentioned implementing something to securely take pictures of the active windows to fill in some of this missing context about those windows. I think that would be extremely helpful to handle those type of apps with poor window metadata.
Sort timesheet and calendar tab by billable status
Some time entries appear to be set to non-billable and it's difficult to find them. Currently I need to click through them or generate a report. I'd like to be able to filter for them in the other tabs that I use most.
Multiple time entries at the same time
It would be great if I can add multiple time entries at the same time because sometimes I'm doing work for a client while I'm in a call with my team. Would be great if you could implement this feature.
Quick-capture tasks I am working on during a particular day, so AI can correctly split time entries
I'd like to be able to quickly capture things I'm working on for a particular day or session, and have that context passed to the AI to split up auto-tracked time entries more accurately.
Correcting categorization from Distraction Prompt.
Would love it if we could make corrections to categorization from Distraction prompt — very annoying how many steps we have to do to correct this problematic prompt.
Light colored exported timesheets
Would love a light-colored option for exported timesheets. I have a client that I send exported timesheets to with my invoices, and I know she will ask for lighter documents because dark is "too hard to read" HAHA. Otherwise, I have been LOVING Rize so far! I was using Toggl and never have been satisfied with it and Rize is awesome!
Reminers
I should be able to tell RIZE to remind me to complete a task in 2 hours in the AI chat section. The AI should be able to create the TASK and set a REMINDER for me in the timeframe I request.
Edit Project info from project screen
Would be great to be able to edit the project keywords, budget, durations, etc in the project itself vs going to the full list to be able to hit edit.
